The innovation of a new way of determining diagnostics by Celedonio Calatayud from 1880 to 1931.
The History of the Therapy
The concept of radiology is to be able to spot and diagnose a disease in the body that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Radiotherapy is an important aspect of treating cancer patients, as it kills off harmful cells from the body.
The History of the Inventor
Celedonio Calatayud was born in Pedreguer, Spain. He later on founded the Spanish Medical Electrology and Radiology Society in Spain.
Modern Usage
Both radiology and radiotherapy are keystones in medicine. Radiology is used almost everyday in doctor's offices, helping patients discover minor things such as a slightly fractured toe, to major problems, such as cancer. Radiotherapy is prominently used in chemotherapy.
